Nagpur - City Must be Kept Clean and Beautiful Always....

Nagpur is an amazing city with a rich heritage, culture, and people. It is known for its temples, the famous Deekshabhoomi, and many other tourist attractions. As a Nagpurian, you can be proud of the fact that you live in a city with such a unique culture and history. It is also home to many educational and business opportunities, so you can be proud of the opportunities it offers.

To preserve this rich culture you need beauty and for beauty, there must be a clean environment to enjoy the beauty and heritage of the city. Actually, Cleanliness is important for any city as it helps to promote public health and hygiene. Poor sanitation and unclean environments can lead to the spread of disease, as well as an unsightly appearance. Cleanliness also helps to make a city more attractive to tourists and investors, as well as create a more pleasant living environment for residents. In addition, a clean city helps to reduce air and water pollution, helping to improve the overall environment.

I visit Indore Sometimes. My maternal Uncle stays there. As an Indorian he takes pride to talk about the City of Indore. I truly see that in his voice and eyes. The question comes to me why We are not able to talk like this about our City in spite of so many superb things and especially being the geographic center of India, with distances to various corners of the country!  To appreciate a small analysis of Indore I did.

Indore has implemented several initiatives to promote cleanliness and sanitation. These initiatives include waste management, waste segregation, and the use of public transport. The city has also implemented a 'Clean Indore' campaign which encourages citizens to take responsibility for their own waste and to report any unclean areas. In addition, the local government has installed dustbins and garbage collection centers in public places, as well as providing door-to-door garbage collection services. The city has also implemented a number of other initiatives such as street cleaning, water harvesting, and tree planting. All of these efforts have helped to make Indore the cleanest city in India.

We are doing so many such things. But where are we lacking then? Won’t it be great if an analysis takes place for the better implementation of the clean India campaign?

We understand that keeping cities and towns clean is a major challenge. Whereas, during the winter session of parliament in Nagpur the City looks flawless and beautiful. We applaud and appreciate the efforts to keep the city clean by organizing cleaning and beautification sessions in the city. All efforts are essential in helping to maintain a healthy and safe environment for everyone but it should be at all times. What if regular cleanliness and beautification activities like that are going on now take place every fortnightly. People of the City will be thankful for the dedication and hard work of local government and corporators in making sure that the city stays clean and safe for everyone. Their efforts will be truly admirable then and everybody will be grateful for the great contribution that they will be committing.

Finally, cleanliness is essential for maintaining a sense of community pride and making a city a desirable place to live.
