Few month before I have posted on my #FB #timeline, "Maturity has no relation with Age". I have received ample of replies on it. Whereas, later I posted, rather I can say I extended that line as Maturity has no relation with Age, Qualification, Profession, Ability to earn, Financial or Social status and so on... have analyzed that this particular list is not at all related to maturity. Now one may shout at me and say or ask, how can you speak about maturity? Actually by my style or looks I don't appear as a matured creature. This is what I know about me {Thank god this happens so. ;-)}. But does it really required that you should look mature to be mature? Oh my my such a complex question. I am very rough when I enter in such arguments. As I always say I am a keen observer, I really do observe such things then and now. Ok let's be bit serious {Sorry I do not have any emoticon to express my seriousness}believe me I am very serious on this but not in #ICU.
I never keep questions to me I speak it aloud and the benefit of this is I get answers from all the directions. So when I expressed my confusion regarding "What's Maturity !!!" I got a message forwarded on whatsapp through my friend saying 'Definition provided by thinkers regarding What's Maturity!' I have just kept my opinion on the wise thoughts of them as per the reality of today's era It is not the final answer but it can avoid fatal of being victimized to immaturity. I have just tried to analyze it again. It says #Maturity is when you...
1. Stop trying to change others, but instead focus on changing yourself : True but to add one more thing, While focusing on yourself do not forget other who really want you to be as you are.
2. Accept people who they are : this does not mean that you do not have any choice. while accepting them put your limits of accepting what.
3. Understand everyone is right in their own perspective : But do not shadow yours.

4. Learn to "let go" : You should but look into it that your loved ones are not doing the same with you just because of your let go attitude.
5. Are able to drop "expectations" from a relationship and give for the sake of giving : You may not expect but the other can. You should understand that also and cannot expect that they should also do the same as you are doing.
6. Understand whatever you do, you do for your own peace : Sometimes your peace becomes hassle to the peace of other. {My neighbor plays spiritual music in the morning for the sake of his mental peace which breaks mine into pieces} Do take care when you are finding peace for yourself.
7. Stop proving to the world, how intelligent you are : yeah very true. better you keep mum and develop listening capacity of yours. specially when you are aware that the one you are listening to is an idiot or I, Me, Myself kind a person.But it's a fun anyhow.
8. Do not seek approval from others : It is related to yourself. but it is required in many incidences otherwise you will get into trouble. Even if when things are right and you are very sure that it is just best then also seeking for approval provides you some sort of peace and happiness to the other to whom you are asking it to approve. but yes not applied everywhere.
9. Stop comparing with others : Why to? it is really not required. Every being is an unique creation of god. Start respecting yourself. Compare only when the result of comparison will not disheartened or demotivate you.
10. Are at peace with yourself.: and you will be when you really want to be. As i said respect yourself. It allows to deny disrespect and harsh behavior of others and a strength to fight for self. Once you are sure that you are happy and ok with whatever you have and you have faith in self. See now you will be at peace with yourself.
11. Are able to differentiate between "need" and "want" and are able to let go of your wants : This is very much required. I have seen people running behind things like a freak, but not getting any satisfaction then also. I have even seen madly in love with shopping kind of a people and anyhow e commerce helped these great lovers by being a headache to the other members specially the one who require to pay for it or bearing the madness.

12. Stop attaching "happiness" to material things : Once you stop running behind offers on various shopping sites and discounts on the apparels in malls you will find real happiness in being what you are. But it is bit difficult. Many have separate definitions of material and spiritual things.
From all these points one may feel that really such things matter or are they hypothetical? are these things really deal with the concept of maturity? leave it... we will again land on ample of questions. But yes just keep keen observation on the behaviours, words, interpretations and so on... things of yours and other too. You will get to know that Maturity really has no relation with Age, Qualification and all the factors that have stated before.
So, all this stuff seem enough but still I am searching the meaning and I am sure I will land up on a concrete solution very soon. {Hopefully} Otherwise I am Enjoying the award winning performances of all the real life actors, Hope you too.... Let's come back to this topic very soon.
Maturity has little relevance to other factors as you have rightly said i.e. quote “Maturity has no relation with Age, Qualification, Profession, Ability to earn, and Financial or Social status and so on” unquote.
ReplyDeleteIn my opinion, Maturity can be attributed to – Ability to respond aptly and appropriately at the given place, time, and circumstances. You come across a child responding to its needs appropriately, you wonder how he has learnt it at this age. How do you describe this- that child has become matured or intelligent.
By the way I googled your name out of curiosity and in Google ranking your name stands in all the first five listed.
