#Katyar Kaljat Ghusli...

Thinking a lot since last few days, was not aware that what am I thinking. It happens most of the time with normal creatures. But anyways point is not what I was thinking point is I am posting on my blog after long gap. My friend said that being a regular reader of your blog we wish that At least you should post once a month. (Giving feeling to your friend that you write well even if they do not...)But why you do not post Yaar. My answer was the same ... I am thinking. What to tell them that what I think hardly make any difference to what.... leave it. But today I cannot stop myself by posting on it. Only reason is Katyar Kaljat Ghusli. Yes... I have seen this movie again and could not stop Mrunal to express her views.
Here I cannot call it a review of Katyar Kaljat Ghusli... cause it is not... you can watch this movie hundreds of times if you are Indian music lover. No matter whether you understand classical music or not but it will surely reach to you.
I remember I have seen this stageplay when my dadaji used to talk about it always. He was a sheer natyageet lover due to which we suffered a lot sometimes. Obviously, when you are not prepared or if your taste is different how you can expect such music since 5 in the morning... anyways it's a different point. It developed interest later. Ya Bhavnatil Geet Purane... was my favorite composition that time and whenever I used to sing that my dadaji looked at me with a proud kind... Like if he is saying that she is the one who will keep my legacy... ha ha jokes a part... but I have seen that play thrice, when he was alive we gifted him the CD of the play so it was understood that we must accompany him and listen his stories too. Later I have seen this play again when Rahul Deshpande took it to Nagpur. So it’s a background that could not stop myself to go for movie. Since childhood heard about Katyar Kaljaat Ghusli... so attitude somewhere was, let’s see now what will I get...
Awesomeness experienced cannot take place anywhere in words... emotional attachment was obviously there.... but movie is not only a musical treat to the audience but a treasure to keep in. This movie is a masterstroke of Subodh Bhave. I wish to express my thanks to himself to give new generation a gift of this movie. They cannot meet Darvekar ji but at least people now know that this is what Marathi natyasampada  and the strength of Natyasangeet. This is what richness of Marathi theatre. Thank you Subodh Da.
Rahul Deshpande ji, Shankar Mahadevan ji and Mahesh Kale ji rendered the compositions in a way that no music lover can stop himself to get tear in the eye. Indeed the combination of subodh and Shankar Ehsan Loy made the real magic by beautifully rallying the Katyar Kaljat Ghusli. The trio of SEL made the magic. I wish Vasantrao and Abhisheki bua.. Anyways where ever they are, they must be feeling happy, proud, satisfied and mesmerized.
Everything is just too awesome.
I am feeling overwhelmed to see that people are responding , as I have seen the attitudes and replies of general public when you ask them to attend classical music event. This response to the movie clarifies that yes classical music and such experiments has place in the hearts of audience.
Number of good quotes can be taken from the movie to implement in one's real life too. Have ample of things to say but.... not able to get proper words.. just huge thanks to Subodh Bhave, Shankar Ehsan Loy, Rahul Deshpande, Sachin Pilgaonkar, Mahesh Kale and entire cast and crew of Katyar Kaljat Ghusli ... each and every person who is associated to it... Thank You.
